Zara Larsson wins big in 2017 Scandipop awards

Each year, music lovers vote for their favorite Scandinavian artists in the Scandipop Awards.

Among the Swedes who were honored when the awards were announced on Jan. 16, Zara Larsson racked up the most wins (five), including Best Female Popstar, Best Pop Song and Global Superstar of 2016.

Wiktoria, who placed fourth of Melodifestivalen 2016, also won a couple of awards, including Best New Artist.

Other big names who took home an awards include, Icona Pop and Sabina Ddumba.
