Tove Styrke’s New Album Has Got Us “Sway”-ing

Tove Styrke is back!
After her 2015 album “Kiddo,” Styrke fans have been waiting patiently to hear from the Swedish pop sensation again.
And as of May 4, the wait is finally over.
Styrke’s latest album, dubbed “Sway,” is an eight-track record that includes the single “Say My Name,” and a cover of Lorde’s “Liability.”
Styrke released the album in between two big-name tours she’s a part of: Lorde’s “Melodrama” tour and Katy Perry’s “Witness” tour – she’ll join Perry’s tour beginning May 29, according to Billboard.
The album is a little bit softer than what we’ve heard from Styrke in the past. She told Billboard, “This is the closest I’ve ever sounded to my actual speaking voice. I used to not like my voice that much. For a long time I thought it sounded like, meh. But now I love my voice. And I think it’s nice that I love it when I sound the most like me and nothing else.”
Obviously, we are huge fans of the album’s namesake track, “Sway,” a soft and sassy, matter-of-fact ballad about a committing to a new relationship, but here are our other favorites.
