Sweet ‘Honey’ – Robyn Is Back
Robyn released her sixth studio album, “Honey,” last week, and we’ve been swaying and bopping our heads ever since.
“Honey” is only a nine-track album, but each song has such a good vibe. Dang, we’ve missed our girl – it’s her first album in eight years. And while it’s like naming your favorite child, we went ahead and picked our five favorite tracks.
Missing U
With a steady bass kick, and cool synth sounds, we’re loving the vibe on this track.
Because It’s in the Music
We love this track because it’s Robyn being Robyn: pure, classic pop.
Baby Forgive Me
This song is pretty chill, and it’s got a cool, auto-tuned voice supporting Robyn’s vocals.
Honey
The titular track, of course we had to include it. It’s sweet, saucy and delightful.
Between the Lines
This track has a little bit of hip-hop and a little bit of island influences, which is a welcomed juxtaposition to Robyn’s poppy vocals.
