Swedish Winter Finds To Wear In The ColdJanuary 11, 2019
With the holidays behind us, we’re finally getting around to switching out our wardrobes from fall to winter. And if you’re like us, this is also the time of year when we try on last year’s clothes and realize the holidays hit us a little too hard around the waistline.
So, if you just happen to need to shop for a different size this year, or if you want to treat yourself to some new gear, we’ve found some steals and splurges from our favorite Swedish clothing brands to help round out your winter wardrobe.
Luxury Looks (For Less)
If you’re looking to make a statement with your outerwear, we love this track suit-inspired jacket from Nudie Jeans ($140, at the time we published this piece) for the guys out there. We’re also loving this camo-denim look for the women ($280 from Nudie Jeans).
For something a little heavier, we are living for the lines in this women’s wool coat from H&M ($199). And for the men, this H&M mock turtleneck twill jacket ($99) has us swooning.
Lastly, one of our favorite parts of winter is breaking out our warm, cozy slippers. Thank goodness for Tretorn coming out with this sneaker/slipper look ($59.50). We’re not sure if they’re more appropriate for the house or the workplace, but we’ll take them!
Pricey Pieces (That are Hot, Hot, Hot)
There is something so luxe about leather, and this biker jacket from Acne Studios for the ladies and this one for the fellas (both $1,650) have us wanting to buy a Svartpilen 701 to go with them.
For the folks in frigid climates, consider investing in this Fjällräven parka ($600). We love that even though it’s a heavier coat, it’s still tailored to a woman’s frame. Don’t worry guys, they’ve got a parka for you, too.
And for your hands, these Hestra leather mittens ($195) look so incredibly warm – and since they’re lined with lambskin, we’re not sure we’ll be able to take them off.
