Swedish Reality Show Looking to Cast Americans

Do you have Swedish ancestry and an interest to learn more about your roots? Are you an outgoing and fun American who is adventurous, but never has been to Sweden? Have you ever wanted to be on a reality TV show?

If you answered yes to the questions above, the Swedish show Allt för Sverige (or the American title Great Swedish Adventure) may be looking for you.

The show is casting for its seventh season – the deadline to apply is Monday, Feb. 20. The show, which is watched by about 1 in 3 people in Sweden, challenges contestants with cultural tasks as they compete to win the grand prize – a chance to meet their Swedish relatives.

Allt för Sverige will shoot in May and June. Contestants must commit to a maximum of six weeks of shooting (only the four finalists stay the entire six weeks).
