Popping up: A Swedish Pop-up in Chicago

Pop-up stores continue to be a popular way for brands to connect with and educate consumers. To check out the newest pop-up – with a connection to Sweden – take a trip to Chicago this summer or fall. Swedish Match recently opened the Swedish Snus Store at 840 W. Armitage Ave in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood. The temporary store continues the momentum from the company’s similar pop-ups in Brooklyn and Los Angeles.

The Chicago pop-up is an opportunity to learn about and purchase General snus. Snus is a smokeless and spitless upper lip tobacco that originated in Sweden more than 200 years ago.
The 1,000-square-foot lounge space offers complimentary wifi and a free fika bar, featuring snacks and coffee. Local artwork is displayed on the walls and will rotate monthly.
The store is open Tuesday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. to adults 21 and older.
