Simone Giertz Is Back On YouTube After Brain Surgery, And We Love Her Even More

Our readers know we are huge fans of Simone Giertz, aka the Queen of Shitty Robots. Partly because she’s Swedish, partly because she’s hilarious, partly because she’s brilliant, but mostly because she’s all-around awesome.

So, two months ago, when she announced that she had a brain tumor, we were bummed. And then a month ago, we laughed, smiled and shed a tear watching her heartfelt, but true-to-Simone video heading into surgery.

Last week, we were thrilled to see her back on YouTube and looking better than ever. It was her first video post-surgery and as always, she was transparent, authentic and funny. She shares in detail how surgery went, how she insulted her doctor, and how she’s doing today.

One thing’s for sure, she’s still making us laugh.
