Swe-Dishes (and Drinks): Rekorderlig’s Dark & FruityNovember 29, 2016
This week’s recipe comes from cider brand Rekorderlig, which is based in Vimmerby, Sweden and combines pure spring water from Europe’s most accredited source with the highest quality fruits.
We at Umgås love to eat – and drink. And over the first year of our online magazine, we’ve met so many terrific chefs, cooks and foodies that we thought it would be fun to share some of their favorite recipes.
We featured the Swedish cider brand, which is looking to grow in the United States.
The fine folks there were kind enough to send along its recipe for a “Dark & Fruity.”
- 1 oz. Dark rum
- 1 dash Angostura bitter (optional)
- 1 Squeeze of lime
- 1 Bottle of Rekorderlig Wild Berries
Garnish: Berries or lime wedges
Squeeze a lime wedge into the glass. Fill glass halfway with ice. Add dark rum and angostura bitters. Top with Rekorderlig Wild Berries. Stir ingredients. Replenish your cocktail with remaining cider left in bottle. Garnish the glass with berried or a lime wedge.
