Recreate Iconic TV Family Rooms At IKEA

From the eats, including all-you-can-eat crayfish, meatballs, meatless meatballs and everything in between to funky collections for humans and even pets, to the versatile, mother of all totes, the Frakta bag, IKEA is the gift that keeps on giving. Recently, the Swedish megastore has done it again.

IKEA launched a new promotion, one that allows customers to recreate iconic living room sets from popular TV series including “The Simpsons,” “Friends” and “Stranger Things.” We’re loving every element of these setups, and needless to say, our online shopping carts are filling up. 

Room for Mates

A barista, a chef, a masseuse, a struggling actor and a, um, whatever Chandler does, all took turns living in Monica’s iconic purple apartment. Fans of “Friends” admired the beautiful, spacious West Village apartment during each episode, but always wondered: How can they afford it?

While you may not be living in or near the Big Apple, you now can pretend to be by redecorating your home with these finds.

Minimal and bright. The Simpsons’ living-room set is what millions of Americans have seen on their TV screens during primetime programming for years, and now you can experience it in your very own home by shopping here.
