Olympic Faces: Elin Johansson

As the world’s best athletes descend on Rio for the Summer Olympics, Umgås will highlight some of Sweden’s best and brightest.

Today, we take a look at Elin Johansson.

Sport – Taekwondo

Vitals – 25 years old (she’ll turn 26 on Day 2 of the Rio Games)…born in Skellefteå, Sweden…literally kicks ass in the 67-kg (148-pound) division.

Why You Should Watch – Johansson nearly medaled at the 2012 London Games, losing her quarterfinal match. Sports Illustrated has predicted that she’ll win the silver medal at the Rio Games.
