Nordic International Film Festival: The Winners

American audiences were treated to a slice of Scandinavia at the fifth annual Nordic International Film Festival (NIFF) at the Roxy Cinema in New York City. Over five days, attendees enjoyed short films, feature films, documentaries and thoughtful conversations during Q&As with directors, actors and producers.

On Sunday, Oct. 20, NIFF organizers and actress Sarita Choudhury hosted a red carpet and honored filmmakers and actors with awards. Winners took home a range of experiential prizes including a trip to the Faroe Islands, a trip to Finland, a weekend at the Nordic Light Hotel in Stockholm and scholarships to the NY Film Academy.
