Our Favorite Tunes From Lykke Li’s ‘So Sad So Sexy’

Lykke Li is one of our favorite sad, sexy Swedes. And she’s got a new album which is keeping us swooning.

Released on June 8, Li’s “so sad so sexy” is a 10-track album that references her previous melancholy style with an added trap influence. Also like previous albums, Li has written or co-written every track.

Paper Magazine notes “so sad so sexy” is chock-full of, “ever-surprising whimsicality, divine overflowing synths, playful beats, devastating lyricism, and the capacity to wring more depth out of the word ‘baby’ than an old blues crooner.”

From the second we heard the beat, this track had us hooked.
