In The News: A Swedish Beer With Sewage Water?

Brewers often are quick to highlight the ingredients in their libations. One Swedish collaboration is turning heads, not because of the organic malt or hops, but because one of their main ingredients is recycled waste water.

Lonely Planet shared that Nya Carnegiebryggeriet brewery, Carlsberg and the Swedish Environmental Research Institute (IVL) have launched PU:REST, a 4.8 percent pilsner.
