Home in the Heart of Stockholm, Gamla Stan
If you’re looking for the authentic Stockholm experience, look no further than Gamla Stan. Let it be known this is a touristy part of the city, however, if you’re looking to knock out some of those must-do experiences like visit the palace, you’re in the right place.
Historic Humble Abode, Gävle
This cozy retreat is on the Gävle River, located in the gardens of two awesome Airbnb hosts. With the convenience of the train meters away from the doorstep, and with the Boulognerskogen Park practically in your back yard, this getaway would be great for a couple or small family.
Northern Lights Lookout, Luleå
Located about five miles outside of Luleå proper, this rental is on the water and provides a perfect backdrop for gorgeous sunsets and the Northern Lights (if you’re there September-March). With chances of below freezing temperatures year-round, be sure to pack appropriately!
Rustic Cabin on the Torne, Kiruna
If you’re looking for a more rustic experience, this cabin is right for you. You can walk or ski out on the frozen river to explore the area, or you can use the bus or taxi system to get you where you need to go. Oh, and be sure to pack your wool lined slippers; the bathroom is located outside of the main residence.
