7 Odd Reactions Fans Had to Bill Skarsgård as PennywiseSeptember 22, 2017
For decades, clowns have been depicted as evil, terrifying and sometimes murderous in mainstream media. Surveys show a majority of children (and adults) are afraid of them. But with all that, is Bill Skarsgård’s portrayal of Pennywise turning these fears into fantasy?
The release of “It” has shattered box office records – including taking the title of highest grossing September release – earning $370 million worldwide. It comes as no surprise considering his line of family genes, but what does come as a surprise are fans’ reaction to his creepy character, Pennywise.
Here are what some of those fans had to say, and we have to say, we couldn’t agree more.
1. Conquering a deep fear in the name of love.
