Swe-Dishes (And Drinks): The ‘Baked In’
If you enjoy all the baked goods and flavors fall has to offer, then this cocktail recipe was made for you.
The “Baked In” is a Scandinavian take on the traditional Martinez, combining gin, vermouth and one of our favorite spirits, aquavit. Kjell Anderson, the front-of-house and bar manager at Metzger Bar and Butchery in Richmond, Va., crafted this cocktail that features flavors of caraway, cherry and chocolate.
“I really like using aquavit in stirred drinks,” Anderson said. “The ‘Baked In’ has an herbal, boozy vibe and tastes similar to chocolate rye bread.”
