The Tomb Raider Reboot Experience, As Told By Alicia Vikander Gifs

The “Tomb Raider” reboot is here, and you could say we’re a little bit excited.

OK, maybe a lot excited.

We’ve been talking about Alicia Vikander’s Lara Croft for some time now, and her debut as the video game character is finally here. The latest iteration of “Tomb Raider” is  more of an origin story for her character, though viewers will still see Lara Croft in action.

How we felt when we found out Alicia Vikander was playing Lara Croft…

When you run into someone and find out he’s a “Tomb Raider” hater. Boy, bye.

Preordering your ticket as soon as they go on sale like…

When you realize you’ll never be able to pull off the Lara Croft look as well as Alicia.

But you dress up for the movie anyways… and realize no one else did.

You are greeted by the familiar scent of delicious, buttery popcorn. Your costume embarrassment dissipates. Alicia, we’re coming for you.

Because you booked your tickets in advanced, you strut to your perfect seat like you own the place. Not too close, not too far.

The movie begins, but your date is trying to tell jokes. HELLO the movie is starting. You smile politely and then shut it down.

But all of a sudden it hits you that it’s almost over…

Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.
