Lead Single For ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Remake Has Sweden Connections

“Hello, Charlie!”

The angels are making their return to theaters later this year, but if you ask Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Ray – they’re no angels.

Back in June, the official trailer for the remake dropped, which is written and directed by Elizabeth Banks. Grande shared the trailer to her Instagram page, also letting fans know that she was co-executive producing the soundtrack with Swedish pop legend Max Martin, Swedish-Persian songwriter Ilya Salmanzadeh and American songwriter Savan Kotecha.

Well, after months of waiting, the lead single “Don’t Call me Angel” dropped in the early hours this morning. At the time of this writing, the video was only nine hours old with 6.6 million views.

What’s all the buzz about? Have a look for yourself.
